Visalakshy Loganathan become a copyeditor in 2003. She started her career as a copyeditor and later held senior positions, taking charge of a team of copyeditors. She has handled books of various prestigious publishers such as Palgrave Macmillan, Blackwell, Elsevier books, Elsevier MRW, Taylor & Francis, Thomson, John Wiley & Sons, Pearson, Springer and Cambridge University Press.
She has been associated with the Translmed Publishing Group since 2013. She has substantively edited many academic and research works of non-native authors. She has conducted more than 100 training sessions on copyediting over a period of 4 years on a group and individual basis to improve and develop the copyeditors’ skills.
She has a special focus on content creation and editing, achieved through its highly experienced professionals who are experts in copyediting, editorial proofreading, rights and permissions, indexing, alt-text writing, and abstract writing.
